My name is Paula, and for over 40 years I have worked as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician. I have worked in management, training, front desk, billing, triage, surgery, bookkeeping, scribing and surgery. I used to teach the Ophthalmic Assistance Program at PIMA Institute. I have been blessed beyond measure that when I move, I always can find immediate work. PLUS, I love working with the patients and being part of a team in the eye care field. Now, semi - retired, I would like to pass on my knowledge to everyone wanting a career change, or a current technician wanting to learn more and the independent Ophthalmologist/Optometrist that can benefit from our untouchable approach to training and Management. Including OSHA training.

Classes available evening and some weekends.

Training will get you certified through IJCAHPO. (International Joint Commission on Allied Health Professionals in Ophthalmology) as a COA, COT or COMT. or in Optometry, as a Para Optometric Technician.

As of now this service is only available to the Space Coast/Melbourne/Palm Bay, Florida area.
